Touch target size

A touch target is the area that responds to a tap or click.

Definition

A touch target is the area that responds to a tap or click. WCAG 2.2 sets a 24 by 24 CSS pixel minimum at level AA, and many teams aim for around 44 by 44.

Use case

Small icon buttons are the usual offenders. Add padding so the clickable area is larger than the icon.
